We Saw the Problem Firsthand
It started with a simple observation — school offices in India were still running on registers, Excel sheets and WhatsApp groups. Teachers were spending hours on attendance. Principals had no way to see fees dues at a glance. Parents had no idea what was happening in school unless someone called them.
We were a small software team from Surat, and we had seen this problem up close — in our own families, in local schools around us. So in 2023, we decided to build something that actually worked for Indian schools — not some expensive foreign software, not a complicated ERP system — just a simple, affordable, mobile-first school management app.
Today, 500+ institutes across India use StudentNote to manage attendance, fees, exams and parent communication — and we're just getting started.
